Instructions for Ordering
Your Photograph Restoration 1- REQUEST A QUOTE To get your restoration/editing job started we first need to provide you with a custom quote of your project(s). To do this you will need to provide us with your photo(s). This can be done either by mailing us your photo or uploading a scan. You can print out the "Photo Quote Request" form to fill out and mail with your photo or send your file via email. (Please see: “Notes On Shipping” & “Notes On Scanning”). 2 - ACCEPT YOUR QUOTE Acceptance of Quote On-Line: Your e-mailed quote will included a button to "PayPal", the secure and easy online payment service. Confirmation of your payment from PayPal will confirm approval and acceptance of the quote. Work on your project will then begin. Acceptance of Quote By Mail: If your quote was provided by mail or fax, you may send the signed quote along with a check to:
Receipt of your payment will confirm approval and acceptance of the quote so that work will begin on your restoration. Rejection of Quote: If you decide not to proceed with your restoration project we will return your photos to you via US Mail at NO CHARGE. 3 - Approve your proof Upon completion of your photo restoration, a digital proof will be posted to our website for you to review on-line. You will be e-mailed the web address to view and approve or comment on your restoration. (See Sample Approval Page) At this point in the restoration process your photo will contain a watermark indicating it is a work-in-progress. Once you have approved the restoration work, the watermark will be removed prior to final output and delivery. Once the restoration portion is complete, your photo will be output in the format(s) that you requested.* 4 - RECEIVE DELIVERY OF YOUR The output of your final restored photos, either prints, slides or CD-ROM and your original photo(s) will be securely packaged and shipped to you via 2-day FEDEX delivery. The FEDEX tracking number of your package will be sent to you via e-mail. A signature will be required for delivery. *ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The entire restoration process from receipt of your original photo generally takes two to three weeks. If you have a special occasion or holiday allow enough time. If necessary your project can be done on a rush basis, however a rush fee will be applied. If your output request is electronic delivery only, a link to download your file from our website will be immediately emailed. There is no additional charge for electronic delivery. Note: Your digital photo is high resolution and intended for high-end photographic output. The file size may be in excess of 20Mb uncompressed and over 15Mb zipped. All files will be zipped prior to download delivery. Electronic delivery is recommended only if you have a high speed internet connection. |
