, Restoration Photo’s owner and lead
artist, has over 20 years of experience in fine arts. Traditionally trained
at Parsons School of Design in NY she has extensive expertise in image
editing, photo restoration and design and works with consumer and corporate
clients, including IBM, M&M Mars, Seagram’s, Disney, Reuters, Chase
Manhattan, Nabisco, Hasbro, Grolier and others.
As owner and lead artist for Restoration Photo,
both restores photos
as well as evaluates and oversees every Restoration Photo project to ensure
quality and customer satisfaction. While many restoration services rely
solely on computer technology to update and restore photos –
demonstrates that a combination of research, fine art and technology are
critical for optimal results. She frequently draws on her research skills
and knowledge of art history when evaluating and restoring an image.
Historic research is often necessary in order to authentically reconstruct
missing portions of photos; she then uses her artistic talent combined with
technology to achieve seamless results.
In addition to her client work, is an experienced instructor, and has
taught Adobe Photoshop Image Editing/Manipulation, Adobe Illustrator,
Multimedia Development, and Computer Interface Design at Parsons School of
Design and the Silvermine Artists Guild. She has studied fine arts in Paris,
and has completed intensive study in Digital Fine Art Applications at the
University of California at Los Angeles. She has her bachelor of fine arts
degree from Parsons School of Design in New York City.
